Nerd factor: ScrewAttack Video Game, Four Bright Buttons & Two Joy

When I first saw this, I noticed how nerdy this guy looks. However, it also made me realize that there’s no better kind of person to talk about old games than a super nerd. If you look at how games are marketed now, many of them are serious and try to put forward a “hip” look. By doing this, as Jeff Foxworthy once said: “This is leaving a lot of people out!”

One thing that strikes me about Screwattack is how nerdy a bunch of them are. It’s this reason why I feel that they can connect so well with so many gamers. I don’t feel like I’m being hyped to, and when I watch one of their videos, it feels like it’s a gamer talking to a gamer.
